Who We Are: VaniYog ("we," "us") is a Mantra Japa Counter & Tracker designed to aid spiritual practice through technology.

Data Processing: Your data is processed securely using AWS Lambda (Serverless Architecture) with data storage located in Mumbai, India to ensure low latency and data sovereignty.

👤 Identity Data

  • Phone Number: Collected for OTP-based secure authentication.
  • Profile Info: Name, Age, and Spiritual Preferences (e.g., Ishta Devata) to personalize the UI.

📊 Spiritual Metrics

  • Total Chants (Japa Count).
  • Streak Duration & Session Times.
  • "Calm Score" (Derived from session consistency).

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit. Your profile and count history are stored in a secured AWS DynamoDB/MongoDB instance behind private VPCs. We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.

5. Data Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)

You have full control over your data. If you wish to delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile > Delete Account inside the app.
  2. Or email us at khemchand.choudhary384@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Data".

Upon request, all your personal data (Phone, Name, History) will be permanently erased from our servers within 7 days.

6. Children's Privacy

VaniYog is general audience friendly, but we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
